Automatic compact baking plate system PC2040C / PC2040CE


The compact automatic cooking plate for piadina baking was created to automate the cooking of round flat bread as Piadina, Pita, Tortillas, Lavash, Crepes without altering the characteristics of manual cooking.

The machine is made of stainless steel AISI304 and consists of a tubular frame which supports the cooking plate and it is built with interlocked doors.

The control panel is equipped with a color touch-screen multilingual interface where it is possible to set the working parameters of the machine and with the ability to store them in the recipes files.

All components in contact with the product are certified for food use.

The machine stands on four adjustable feet to fit it to its supporting surface.

To optimize the production the machine can be interfaced to the Automatic compact Pizza Sheeter PS30C that, starting from the dough ball, it forms the product and unloads it automatically on the loading conveyor belt of the griddle.


The cooking process is performed as follows: the loading conveyor brings the products (piadina or else) that feed the cooking plate, consisting in a rotating ring heated by different groups of burners or by electric resistances. The piadina, pita, tortilla or similar flatbread is cooked on one side then it reaches to the filp-over belt, that pick the product and flips it over. After the cooking, a movable shoulder pushes the product into the unloading chute, where it can be collected by a conveyor belt (accessory).
